Jason dreams every night that he is transported to a dark and foreboding land where evil prevails and good struggles. It is a land of swords and sorcery, with castles and roaming monsters.
Each night the dream is just of continuation of the last. Jason can keep it to himself until he gets hurt in the dream world and wakes up bleeding!
His teachers worry that he is being abused by the parents, the parents think he is sleep walking and getting hurt and his school counselor is just trying to get to the bottom of it.
Meanwhile Jason must deal with an evil king that wants him dead, monsters attacking him and a massive wall of ice that he must scale. Will Jason find someone that will believe him before it is too late?
Wizards and Heroes Wizard Series Book 1 eBook Clark Graham
Jason went to bed in on world and woke up in another, in time to kill a monster, but not before sustaining some injuries to his back.Waking up the next morning in his bed he was a little surprised at the dream he had...until at school the coach sends him to the nurse for treatment of the injuries he sustained to his back.
How on earth do you explain having been injured in a dream? And that night Jason landed again in that same world.
This is quite a delightful fantasy that draws you in to a world where magic is still real and an evil king rules. I rather enjoyed it, despite some attrocious editing. Enjoy!

Wizards and Heroes Wizard Series Book 1 eBook Clark Graham Reviews
I didn't realize this was for a young reader...that said, it was good but couldn't hold my interest. Good book for younger readers like 4th or 5th grade perhaps. I did like it, just not what I expected.
This was quite an amusing read, easily surpassed my expectations by a great amount. Good spur of the moment read.
Great book. Read it.
I really enjoyed this story. It was different. The characters were well written also. It did have some grammatical errors, but it didn’t detract from the story.
I have been reading for close to 70 years and did not expect to finish - much less enjoy - a book with a high school hero. Happily I was wrong. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the read but I was delighted to find that I discerned no grammatical errors which are so prevalent in many books these days. I look forward to the entire series. Both thumbs up!
I really liked this story! Great storyline!
The author kept you going with no stagnant dry spells. It was non-stop things happening. I loved how the hero anticipated his next moves by learning what he needed to know during the day.
I was confused that the bodies of his companions automatically moved to wherever he was located when he woke.
My only complaint would be that he DESPERATELY needs to get an editor. The book was full of errors and mistakes.
I didn't know what to expect. Who would have guessed a novel could include themes of bullying, child abuse mysterious kingdoms in another dimension, failed wizardry successfully? And then wrap a school guidance counselor to boot? Believe me, it worked. I'll buy the next in the series when it is available on .
